A little about me – I am a Londoner (‘born and bred’ as the saying goes) and, following the rigorous training, in March 2005 I qualified as a registered Tourist Guide (with the Blue Badge tourist guiding qualification, the highest guiding qualification in the UK). Since then I have worked exclusively as a professional tourist guide. The Blue Badge qualification allows me to guide in key visitor sites such as Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. I have guided groups of all sizes (from single individual via couples, families and all through to double-decker bus parties of around 60 individuals). Since 2007 I have been personally recommended by American travel writer Rick Steves in his London and European guide books which has led to the opportunity to work with clients in developing the itineraries that best suited their needs and interests (taking into account factors such as venues opening days, dates, times and peak periods). For me guiding is both a privilege and a great pleasure. The last year has of course been tough for everyone involved in the Travel and Tourism industry and I have truly missed the day to day experience of guiding visitors in and around London and other locations (ie Windsor, Stonehenge). I am able to offer themed tours Iconic London, Shakespeare’s London, Beatles London and Hidden London (to name a few). My ethos is that visitors enjoy and are entertained by what they see and hear (and learn along the way!)

Hello! I would like to welcome you to London, my home and the city I love. As well as being an experienced Blue Badge Tour Guide (the ultimate qualification in guiding) I am also a City of London Guide, City of Westminster Guide, Windsor and Eton Guide and Tate Gallery Guide, so wherever we go you'll be in good hands. Only Blue Badge tour guides are permitted to guide inside certain locations, such as Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. My aim is to provide you with enthusiastic, informative and fun private tours which ensure that your London experience will be the best. I was born in the North of England but spent much of my childhood living in India and the Middle East. I moved to London for a year to study on a postgraduate course and never left - working, bringing up my children and developing my career in guiding here. Apart from a few years living in Japan and Singapore, London has been my home for 30 years. I believe there is something for everyone here in London, 2000 years of history rubbing shoulders in a contemporary city with modern architecture, fashion and art. Whatever you are interested in, whether it is royalty, castles, palaces, traditions, galleries, museums or modern culture I can tailor a tour for you. My bespoke tours include walking tours, tours by public transport ( bus, tube, boat or train), or I can organize a car with a driver or a minibus. Within London we can cover the major sites--Westminster Abbey, Royal London, Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard, Churchill War Rooms, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London or explore less well-known districts like Bermondsey, Shoreditch or Spitalfields. Out of London Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Dover, Leeds Castle, Hever Castle are a few of the many wonderful places that can be easily reached in a day trip. “ Fun night out ”

This was a fun tour but pretty pricy. Tim was an excellent guide very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the history of the different back alley ways. However the price quickly adds up as no food or beverages are included (we knew this and that we needed to pay for him as well). Tim orders for you so you don’t know the price until settling your bill. I would set a budget next time. It was our last night so we felt it was good fit.

“ Toledo: A Cultural Pearl of Spanish History ”

Laura is a 5 star guide for Toledo who clearly demonstrates a heartfelt enthusiasm for her native city. Her level of expertise is top notch and her command of English is excellent. “ Great Tour! ”

I booked this for my parents who were visiting Tokyo. Nobu was responsive and told me everything I needed to know so I could relay the information to my parents. My parents said he was very knowledgeable about the sites they were at and enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in experiencing Mt Fuji!
