The Mkomazi National Park is a magnificent, 3,245 square kilometre national park in northern Tanzania. Morning pick up from your hotel and departure to Mkomazi National Park. Arrive in time for game viewing.

Same Mkomazi entry gate.

On arrival at the gate you will sign in and go for a game viewing taking a packed lunch to have more time. Most of the animals that you'll see are endangered species, particularly the black rhino and wild dog along with several bird species.

Arrive to the entry gates I will help you get signed and have your permit ready for a full day gae drive with your guide enjoy and hear interesting information about wild animals and mkomazi ecosystem. You will come across seeing various animals like Most common animals in Mkomazi National Park

Rhino Sanctuary visit

A visit of the Rhino Sanctuary gives you maximum satisfactions.

During the rhino poaching crisis, “protecting the fortresses” played an important role. However, winning the hearts and minds of local communities is also critical to ensure that Mkomazi never sees a mass extinction of its rhino population again.

The Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary is working to build a viable breeding population of 50 black rhinos, whose offspring will be used to strengthen the existing populations in Tanzania. The rhinos in the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary make up nearly 30% of the total black rhinoceros population in Tanzania. This makes the Mkomazi rhinos incredibly important, not only for the country, but also for the future of this fragile species.

You will hear the really interesting information from the. Park managers about the rhino bleeding. The enjoy the animals.

Then after rhino sanctuary we will have en route game drive while heading to the gate for exit.

Get out of the park and start driving back to the hotel in korogwe, Tanga.
