We explore downtown Mount Maunganui, a popular Kiwi holiday destination and the stunning white sandy surf beach, voted best in New Zealand. We stop for wonderful photoshoots.

We continue on to Rotorua driving through lush green countryside, dairy farms, kiwifruit orchards, pine forests, and the scenic lakes district, before arriving at the Redwood Forest (Rotorua)

At the Redwood Forest (Rotorua) we take a short stroll amongst the majestic tree ferns and towering 70 feet high Coastal Redwood trees.

Te Puia: 10:15 - 12:00

On this guided tour of this we explore the famous geothermal park. See Pohutu geyser, steam vents, boiling mud pools and simmering hot springs, a steaming volcanic landscape.

Spot the elusive nocturnal Kiwi bird, pre-European Maori village, war canoe, see stunning carvings and visit the wharenui (meeting house) Visit the ultra modern museum and see Maori craftsman carving wood, making precious greenstone adornments & traditional flax weaving used for making their clothing.

We explore downtown Rotorua, including famous landmarks such as Government Gardens, the Old Bath House, Blue Baths and the lakefront before the return journey via the old State Highway through steep gorges and spectacular countryside to your waiting ship, on board and on time.

Important Information

Start times will fit in with ship arrival/departure times. I will meet you 15 minutes prior to departing time at the Port entry/exit gates 5 -10 minutes walk from your ship. I will be waiting there with your name sign. I guarantee to have you back to the waiting ship on board well before sailing time. I have never missed a ship!
