On this tour, we will visit Wakayama Castle and Wakayama Marina City which are the most popular representative tourist spots in Wakayama. After watching the tuna filleting show and eating tuna lunch at Wakayama Marina City, we will visit Kishi station by the Wakayama Railway to see the famous CAT stationmaster. In the evening, we will eat the very well-known Wakayama ramen near JR Wakayama station.

We will head to Wakayama Railway Kishi Station to meet the famous cat stationmaster. You can also enjoy the idyllic countryside along the way there. Please note that the cat stationmaster has some public holidays. In addition to public holidays, there are also times of sick leave.
The famous Wakayama ramen has a pork bone soy sauce flavor. The thick soup and thin noodles go very well together.

Hiroyuki was a superb guide! We had already spent 2 weeks in the Kansai region, but our day with Hiro on Mt Koya was certainly one of the highlights, due to the detail of his plans and knowledge. Calm and easy to chat to, Hiro provided us with many insights into Japanese culture, beyond the fascinating insights into Kukai, esoteric Buddhism and Koya San. He patiently answered our many questions and gave us some very useful tips for our trip to Nachi the following day! We had an amazing lunch in a restaurant recommended by him and it was fascinating to learn so much about many varied topics.
