This half day 5 hour tour will take you into the heart of Co. Wicklow also known as "The Garden County" or "The Garden of Ireland" which is located just south of Dublin city. Experience the tranquillity and natural beauty of the monastic site at Glendalough which is set in a deep glacial valley in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains.

We will depart your Dublin base and make our way south towards Co. Wicklow taking a costal route through south Dublin. We will then join the N11 main road and continue our Journey onwards to Glendalough.
The monastic settlement of Glendalough was founded in the 6th century by Saint Kevin. We shall spend some time connecting with the history of the ruins of the monastic city and taking in the views of this beautiful valley and of the upper lake and also taking some time for lunch. We will take a route back to Dublin through the Wicklow Mountains via Lough Tay also known as "Guinness Lake" which offers spectacular scenery and a great photo op.
We'll be returning to Dublin city by early/mid afternoon giving you time to be left to your own devices for the rest of the day in Dublin.
