The famous IN BRUGES film was filmed in this square and the breathtaking scene of the fight on the top of the tower took place here too. The square is one great example of Guild Houses of the Spanish Netherlands. We will discover the old housing system in the past and how it evolved till our days.
Grote Markt can also be described as the Grand Place of Bruges, where Province Hall and Historium museum take place next to each other.
