Echmiadzin

One of the most beautiful churches in Armenia, St. Hripsime church devoted to the Christian nun and built in 618 AD. According to a legend 38 Christian nuns were killed by the pagan Armenian king Tiridates III in the end of 4c AD.

Echmiadzin

The oldest Cathedral in the world - Echmiadzin. According to a legend Gregory the Illuminator saw a vision of Jesus Christ descending from the heaven, striking the ground with a golden hammer and asking him to build a Cathedral over there. You will visit the museum of Relics, among them the legendary Spear which had wounded Jesus Christ at the Crusifixion, and the fragment of Noah's Ark. The lunch is included in Agape restaurant, one of the oldest restaurants in the world, dated back to 4c AD.

Zvartnots

The final visit of the day are the remnants of Zvartnots medieval cathedral, dated back to 642 AD. Other names of the place are Celestial Angels or Gregory the Illuminator church, the founder of the Armenian Apostolic Church
