Hello！ I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan
where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-
a-lifetime-encounter that is , as it may not recur again. This word came from the spirit of tea ceremony. Anyway, let us enjoy extraordinary tours in Tokyo together, shall we ?

Our tour guide Takako was exceptional. She warmly engaged with each of us, learning our names and interests, including those of my teenage children, to tailor the tour to our preferences. She went out of her way to help us with reservations for our Osaka and Kyoto trip and even assisted in finding a model train set at a store, which we wouldn’t have located without her help. Additionally, she found a perfect lunch spot for us that matched our taste in food. Her English was excellent, and she provided insightful background and history for each location. She spent a significant amount of time with us, ensuring we saw as many highlights as possible. Our first day in Tokyo was truly memorable thanks to her, and we already miss her presence.

Taka took us around amazing sites and was very knowledgeable. All 8 of us had a wonderful time. She also took us to a sushi place that was amazing.

Especially I was very glad to see you could enjoy at sushi restaurant by ordering whatever you wanted to try in Japan, from shaved ice to japanese sake! Organising the tour was very easy through the website and email. I put together a list of the places we wanted to see and Takako responded very quickly with a recommended itinerary. The weather was not kind to us on the day of our tour as it rained for 90% of the tour, but Takako did a great job of guiding all 9 of us around the city. She was a very lovely lady, very punctual, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend Takako for your next tour of Tokyo.

It was so dreadfully heavy rain on that day but I was glad to see you enjoyed Tokyo tower and Tsukiji outer market: especially Wagyu beef and Mochi. We skipped Hamarikyu garden and Ueno park but I suppose you could enjoy Japanese gardens during the tour in Japan after that. Thank you for joining me. See you again someday Takako
